Cutting loose

I need a day at home to just cut stuff up.

I've got so many projects in my head and to be honest I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed at this point in time. I plan on getting a few out of my UFO's of the way so I can make a start on something for ME (yes you heard correctly -" for "ME").

I need a planning day, followed closely by a cutting day, which would then be followed by a month of procrastinating days and finished off nicely with a few days of starting projects that will remain unfinished until I dig up the inspiration to get them out of the way.

Someone out there in blog land has recently fantasised about having a cutter upperer and I am so on that wave length. I see all those tags with the question "what would you do if you were a billionaire?" You don't have to ask me twice - I'd hire a cutter upperer..............

I'm a good cutter uppererer....I have lots of things cut up....I just never sewed anything back together!

That would be so wonderful to hire a cutter uppererer, then I could just do all the fun stuff, like dressing my little elephants!

So with you on needing a cutter upperer. ME too! What I think I need more though is my scissors sharpened.

I too have plenty of cutting up done. My problem is getting things sewn back together before I get distracted by the next shiny thing! Jen

I would have an idea maker machine - everytime I have an idea - I wouldn't have to then work it out and make it - I'd just press the button and the machine would produce it magically. Instead - I have a list I keep adding too ... and I just keep going ... do you think they will ever invent such a machine?

I don't mind cutting out, it's the last little finishing off bit's I hate, like binding. Maybe a pet hate swap should be arranged!
I love Rachael Rabbits suggestion of an idea maker machine. I'd like a pattern maker. I have the ideas, I have the sketches in my book, I even have the cut out, sewn up and finished products, but I'd really like to have it all written up for me too.
