RIP Mr B

This is stitching unrelated.

Mr B was a really close family friend. He and his wife and family have been around our family for as long as I can remember. I spent school holidays with his kids, his son was my best "holiday" friend/partner in crime for most of my teenage years. Mr B inspired me to apply myself at school, not an easy task, talked to me about books and literature and spent a fair whack of his time telling us to 'pull your heads in'. It occured to me this morning that when I first met him, he was younger than I am now.

He'll be missed by our family

He was obviously a very intelligent man. I can't think of a time when you're too young to tell someone to pull their head in!
